Frequently asked questions.
For how long can I rent a costume? +
Usually a costume is booked for 1 day — your event date. If needed, you can book for longer: just pick a date range when booking. Minimum is 1 day.
How is the price calculated? +
The first rental day (your event date) is the costume rate. Each additional day costs +50% of the rate. Nova Poshta shipping adds +50% of the rate once (not per day). The shipping itself is paid by the client at Nova Poshta rates — we do not charge for delivery and have no courier of our own. The deposit is paid separately and refunded when you return the costume. Example: a 400 UAH costume — 1 day = 400; 2 days = 600 (400 + 200); 2 days with Nova Poshta = 800 (400 + 200 for the 2nd day + 200 for NP) plus the Nova Poshta shipping fee.
What about the deposit? +
The deposit is taken in cash when you pick up the costume — usually three times the rental price. We return it once the costume is brought back in proper condition (against a receipt).
How do I choose the right size? +
Use the child’s height in centimetres. Each product page offers heights from 80 to 176 cm, and the quick-pick block will suggest the right size.
Can I book for a specific date? +
Yes. Pick your rental dates — busy days are marked and unavailable. A booking reserves the costume for you on those days.
When do I pick up and return the costume? +
We hand out the costume the day before the event after 15:00. Return it on the event day or the next day before 12:00. In December (peak season) — on the event day before 20:00.
How does delivery work? +
We have no courier of our own — we ship only via Nova Poshta across Ukraine, usually two days before the event. The shipping cost is paid by the client at Nova Poshta rates. The rental price only adds a +50% surcharge of the costume rate for shipping (one-time).
